Position Overview:

The Director of Product Marketing is an expert in managing implementation of consumer-facing and backend website features and will be strongly motivated to continuously improve the performance and user experience of our ecommerce product. As a senior team leader, you will guide team members in project management, quality assurance and testing, strategic analysis, and creative design.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Project management for implementation of key website features (consumer facing and backend functionality), including translating business needs into technical requirements, communicating with development team, integrating with third parties, owning quality assurance, and defining/reporting on performance metrics.
  • Lead conceptualization and wireframing efforts with internal product marketing team, designers, and development team to ensure optimized user experience and adherence to elevated brand copywriting standards and design aesthetic.
  • Manage, prioritize, and execute against backlog of new features, feature enhancements, A/B tests, and bugs in agile two-week sprint environment.
  • Monitor and leverage quantitative metrics in Google Analytics to identify and prioritize opportunities and develop hypotheses for A/B testing to optimize conversion.
  • Integrate qualitative data, such as online user testing, internal feedback, and customer comments, into product requirements and optimization recommendations.
  • Work with development team and third parties to prioritize page speed improvements.
  • Continuously monitor and benchmark against ecommerce trends and competitive consumer experiences to identify and prioritize opportunities.

Specific Qualifications

  • BA degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years product management skills (experience launching new features, complex products)
  • UX/UI, wireframing, and user research experience
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to brand guidelines
  • Strong data skills, and experience working in web analytics platforms (Google Analytics a plus)
  • Ecommerce experience a plus
  • Experience managing a small team with a hands-on leadership style
